Lane United FC Men secured another home win on a hot Sunday afternoon with a 3–1 result over Midlakes United, led by a hat trick from striker Bautista Rossi-Molinas, who now has 6 goals in 3 matches.
Rossi-Molinas opened the scoring in the 14th minute after a well-timed run and a calm finish assisted by Martim Sereno. The Reds maintained momentum through the first half, outshooting Midlakes 8–5 and controlling the tempo.

Despite a Midlakes goal in the 44th minute, Lane United stayed composed and continued to find chances in the second half. LUFC had a total of 9 shots in the second half whereas Midlakes had just one. Rossi-Molinas added his second goal in the 78th minute, finishing off a corner kick by Milo Wray. He completed the hat trick less than ten minutes later in the 87th, off a free kick just outside the box, putting the match out of reach for Midlakes.

It was a physical contest throughout, with seven yellow cards issued — four to Midlakes and three to Lane United — as both teams battled for control in the midfield. Despite the stoppages and heavy fouling, Lane kept composure, stayed organized defensively, and remained clinical in the final third.

It was a disciplined team performance from Lane United, who managed the game well in all phases and came away with another win at home improving their record to 3-2-1, now sitting at third on the table with 11 points. The Reds will travel to Washington this coming Saturday, June 14th to face undefeated division leaders, Ballard FC.
