LUFC Men Eye First League Match After Friendly Sweep

The Lane United FC Reds, wearing their non-traditional green training kits, took both matches in a round robin against the Southern Oregon Raiders and the Western Oregon Wolves. The games were very competitive with physicality and many great saves. Squad depth was shown with two entirely different lineups featured in the two matches.

In the first match, Frenchman Dia Cheikh Ibrahim was able to score a second-half brace to lead the Reds past the Raiders 2-1 despite a late goal from Raider, Jayden Cameron. The back line held up firm again in the second game, allowing no goals from the Wolves and securing the clean sheet. Griffin Rea scored the lone goal in that match to lead the Reds to a 1-0 victory on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
