After Sunday afternoon’s season-ending victory over Capital FC Atletico (4-0), we spoke with head coach John Galas, defender Michael Hatcher, and dual goal-scorers Ben Foulks and Hugo Rodriguez. Hear their thoughts on the match, as well as on the season as a whole, below. 

Lane United FC’s men’s team showcased their fiery form in their season finale on Sunday afternoon, concluding their 2023 campaign with a dominant 4-0 victory over Capital FC Atletico in Salem.

After a frustrating 1-1 tie against PDX FC, the Reds are hungry for one more win. They head up state to try and prevent Capital FC Atletico from a place in the top three. 

Thursday night’s match between LUFC and PDX FC ended in a disappointing 1-1 tie, as again the Reds controlled the majority of the game. Head coach John Galas, goalkeeper Will Ficek, forward Tommy Case, and goal-scorer Banyan Lyon shared their thoughts on the match as well as the upcoming last game of the season. 

The Lane United FC men’s team tied 1-1 with PDX FC in their final home game of the season on Thursday evening. The Reds played well from start to finish, outshooting the visitors 14-6 and dominating possession, but were unable to come away with the three points.

After last night’s highly competitive and hard-fought 2-0 loss to United PDX in which LUFC actually outshot their opponent, hear head coach John Galas’ and wingback Ben Foulks’ thoughts on the match.

The Lane United FC Men’s Team looked to end their winless streak versus United PDX on the road in Portland on Friday evening, but despite enjoying numerous scoring chances were unable to find the back of the net and fell by the score of 2-0.
