The Lane United FC Women’s team achieved their first point in club history against Capital FC Atletica in an action-packed game in Salem, Oregon, on Friday night.

On Friday night, the Reds are heading back to Salem in a rematch of their first game against Capital FC Atletica. The LUFC Women are eager for their first win of the season and this match looks like a perfect opportunity. 

When defender Michael Hatcher was asked if it was good to be home, he immediately cracked a warm smile.

“Yeah,” he laughed. “Yeah, for sure.”

Ballard FC’s Lesia Thetsane creeps his way into the box and fires a rocket off his left foot to the left side of the goal, but keeper Brandon Limes impressively halts the strike.

The Lane United Reds Men’s team will travel to Seattle, Washington, tomorrow to take on Ballard FC in front of a packed house at Interbay Stadium.
